At the end of the event, martial artists of Dong Nai province scored one gold, two silver and one bronze medals to finish 6th in men’s event and 14th in women’s event out of 43 clubs from across the country. Accordingly, Huynh Nhat Quang won the gold medal in 51-kg category for men.
The event attracted the participation of over 300 athletes from 43 clubs across the country, competing for medals in 28 weight categories for both men and women.
Kickboxing is a group of stand-up combat sports based on kicking and punching, historically developed from karate, muay Thai, Kun Khmer and boxing. Kickboxing is practiced for self-defense, general fitness, or as a contact sport.
