This year’s festival attracted the participation of 10 troupes. Each troupe performed five Don Ca Tai Tu (Southern folk music) and Cai Luong items.
At the end of the festival, the organizers awarded 42 prizes for outstanding individuals and troupes. The annual festival is the biggest event held for Don Ca Tai Tu and Cai Luong lovers in the province and is part the implementation program on the musical genre “Don ca tai tu” through the project to preserve and develop the musical genre “Don ca tai tu” in the province until 2020, with the orientation to 2030 launched by the province’s Culture and Cinema Center.
