The Top 5 contenders have been named as Quang Hai, Van Hau, Hung Dung, Van Quyet of Hanoi FC, and Trong Hoang of Viettel FC.
In addition, Van Hau has also been nominated in the best young talent category alongside Danh Trung, Van Toan, and Hoang Duc.
In the Vietnamese Women’s Golden Ball Award 2019, the Top 5 finalists include Chuong Thi Kieu, Huynh Nhu, and Tran Thi Kim Thanh of Ho Chi Minh City FC, Nguyen Thi Tuyet Dung of Phong Phu Ha Nam FC, and Pham Hai Yen of Hanoi FC.
The Best Female Player award is made up of three final candidates, including Nguyen Thi Tuyet Ngan and Cu Thi Huynh Nhu of Ho Chi Minh City FC, in addition to Ngan Thi Van Su of Hanoi FC.
All five players from Thai Son Nam FC have been named in the Futsal Golden Ball Award 2019, with Thai Huy, Minh Tri, Van Vu, Van Y, and Duc Hoa all in contention.
Elsewhere in the Best Foreign Player category, Bruno Cantanhede of Viettel FC, Memovic Damir of SLNA FC, and Pape Omar Faye of Hanoi FC have all been listed as finalists.
Ho Chi Minh City is scheduled to host the awards gala on February 13.
