The event was attended by Secretary Nguyen Phu Cuong of Dong Nai provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Hoa Hiep of People’s Committee, representatives from departments, agencies, and teachers and students cross the city.
At the ceremony, the participants offered flowers and burnt incense to worship cultural well-known men and honor beloved teachers.

Addressing at the event, Director Huynh Le Giang of DoET stressed that the third day of Lunar New Year is a day for people to pay respect for their teachers. The ceremony aims to preserve and develop the tradition of “remembering the source when drinking water”.
