The gold medals were won by Nguyen Dinh Minh Nhat in the men’s 61kg category, Ngo Thi Hong Nhung in the women’s 49kg category, Phan Nguyen My Linh in the women’s 33kg category and Pham Thi Lan Trinh in the women’s 42kg category.
HCM city went first at the end of the five-day competition with 17 golds, 10 silvers and 13 bronzes, followed by Vinh Long and Binh Dinh.
This year’s tournament brought together nearly 800 martial artists from 48 clubs from cities and provinces across the country, competing for 82 sets of medals in team, combat and demonstration events.
