Exhibition on sea and island sovereignty opens in Dinh Quan district

(ĐN)- An exhibition featuring historical maps, documents and photographs affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over Truong Sa (Spratly) and Hoang Sa (Paracel) archipelagos opened in Dinh Quan district on October 21.

Entitled ‘Vietnam’s Hoang Sa and Truong Sa - Historical Evidence’, the exhibition showcased over 100 photographs, books and newspapers which were divided into four subjects including Truong Sa, and Hoang Sa archipelagos, maps affirming Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos, and Dong Nai with fatherland’s sea and islands.

The exhibition aims to raise awareness among the local people about Vietnam’s sovereignty over the two archipelagos, as well as the importance of protecting the national sea and island sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The event, which is jointly held by the district’s Culture and Information Office and the provincial Museum, will run until October 30.
