At the end of the competition, hosts Dong Nai province won two golds and three silvers, ranking 7th in the overall medal tally. The medals went to Luong Duc Phuoc and Hoang Thi Thu Trang.
Meanwhile, team from Ha Noi scored 12 golds, 6 silvers and 7 bronzes to finish first. They were followed by the Military team and Dan Noang city.
The tournament attracted 402 athletes from 48 teams from across the country, competing in 47 events, of which 23 are for men and women each and a mixed event of 4x400m.
