Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Hoa Hiep of the provincial People’s Committee and Deputy Head of the provincial Party Committee's Commission for Communications and Education Pham Tan Linh attended the opening ceremony.
The annual event is co-organized by Dong Nai Newspaper, Department of Education and Training and Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
This year’s tournament, sponsored by Nutrition Food J.S Company (Nutifood) and others, attracted the participation of 11 best teams from districts of Cam My, Thong Nhat, Vinh Cuu, Long Thanh, Tan Phu, Xuan Loc, Trang Bom, Dinh Quan, Nhon Trach and cities of Long Khanh and Bien Hoa.
The teams, divided into 3 groups, will play in a round-robin league in the first round. The top two teams of each group will compete in the second round, with the winners going into the next round. The final round will take place on August 20.
