After five days of competition, HCM city overwhelmed their rivals y winning 17 golds out of 19 categories, along with 2 silvers. Ha Noi finished second while Tra Vinh ranked third.
Jointly organized by the General Department of Sports and Physical Training, the Vietnam Gymnastic Federation and the Dong Nai Culture, Sports and Tourism Department, the tournament attracted more than 120 athletes from nine teams of Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Hai Duong, Ha Noi, Khanh Hoa, Tra Vinh, Phu Yen, Ho Chi Minh City and host Dong Nai.
Athletes competed in three age groups: 9-11, 12-14, 15-17 in men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and teams. They competed in two contents: aerobic gymnastics and aerobic dance.
The annual event contributes to the development of aerobic athletes nationwide. Outstanding competitors will be chosen for the national team in preparation for the upcoming international tournaments.
