The gold medals were brought home by Nguyen Ngoc Huynh who contributed three of the total gold medals in categories for individuals. Meanwhile, Vu Dang Nhat Nam and his teammates won two gold medals in categories for individuals and teams. The other golds were earned by Le Quynh Nhu and Vo Minh Hieu.
Taking place from July 10 to 18, the tournament brought together 347 athletes from 28 teams nationwide, competing in swimming and diving events.
