At the end of the event, martial artists of Dong Nai province scored one gold and four bronze medals to finish 5th in 50-kg category for male martial artists aged 14-16 . Accordingly, Huynh Nhat Quang won the only gold medal.
The event attracted the participation of 281 athletes from 27 teams from across the country, competing for 43 sets of medals in different weight categories for both men and women.
Kickboxing is a group of stand-up combat sports based on kicking and punching, historically developed from karate, muay Thai, Kun Khmer and boxing. Kickboxing is practiced for self-defense, general fitness, or as a contact sport.
