(ĐN)- The 11th national sport festival of ethnic minority groups in Southern and Central Highlands provinces concluded on May 29 in Dak Lak province.
At the end of the festival, Dong Nai athletes scored 4 silver and 9 bronze medals to finish sixth. Meanwhile, hosts Dak Lak went first at the festival, followed by Kon Tum and Gia Lai.
The 10-day event saw the participation of 864 officials, coaches and athletes from 17 regional provinces and cities, competing in seven sports, including football, volleyball, stick-pushing, crossbow shooting, tug of war, running and walking on stilts.
The festival aimed to introduce and honor cultural values and traditional sports of ethnic minority groups, preserve folk games and widely develop physical training and sport playing movements.
