Tran Quang Thai from Bien Hoa city came in second, followed by Nguyen Duy Minh from Bien Hoa city.
The event attracted 23 chess players in Dong Nai and other provinces and cities, competing for medals under Swiss standards.
The event aimed to create a playground for Chinese chess lovers, contributing to develop Chinese chess movement in the province.
