(ĐN)- On May 15, female team from Dong Nai province scored a silver medal in the category for women teams at the 2019 National Sepak Takraw Championships which is taking place in Thanh Hoa province’s Sam Son city.

The team won the medal after being defeated by team from Ha Noi 0-2 in the final match. So far, Dong Nai has won one silver and one bronze at the tournament.
The tournament, which is jointly organized by the Vietnam Sepak Takraw Federation and Sam Son city’s People’s Committee, drew the participation of 300 athletes from 14 teams from across the country, competing for medals in the men’s and women’s doubles, and team categories
The event is an ideal platform for localities to share experience in sepak takraw training and learn from each other, while providing an opportunity to select new promising talent for the national team to compete at the upcoming 30th SEA Games.
It is scheduled to conclude on May 18.
