After three days of competition, athletes from Dinh Quan district won a total of 16 gold, 6 silver and 8 bronze medals to rank first at the event, followed by team from Cam My and Xuan Loc.
The tournament, held by the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, attracted the participation of nearly 250 athletes, representing 10 localities across the province, competing for 64 sets of medals in categories for professionals and young athletes.
The championship aimed to promote the athletics training movement in society as well as offer a good chance for young athletes to practice and sharpen their skills, and select best athletes for the forthcoming National Athletic Tournament scheduled to be held in Dong Nai between July 28 and August 8.
