The gold medals were won by Luong Duc Phuoc in 800m run for professionals and Can Van Thanh in 800m for athletes aged 16-17.
The five-day event was held by HCM city Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Athletic Federation and the city’s Athletic Federation. Athletes competed in categories for professionals and young athletes.
