The gold medal was won by Bien Hoang Gia Phu in standard category for U.9 players.
The event was held by Thu Dau Mot city Center of Culture and Information, attracting the participation of more than 300 chess players from 22 teams from 9 provinces and cities in Southern Region and Central Highlands.
