(ĐN)- Luong Phuoc Duc from Dong Nai province, a member of Vietnamese team, excellently won a gold medal in 1,500m run, clocking a time of 4:07:09, at the 81st Singapore Track and Field Tournament Open on March 29.

Earlier, Phuoc also scored a bronze medal in 800m run. His results has brought pride to the province’s track and field as well as contributed to Vietnamese team who won a total of two gold and one bronze medals.
Lasting from March 28 to 29, the tournament is one the oldest track and field competitions in the Southeast Region, attracting lots of outstanding athletes in the region and Asian nations.
