After three days of competition, Vinh Cuu Senior High School in Vinh Cuu district won the overall first prize.
The three-day event, organized by the provincial Military Headquarters and the provincial Police Department and the provincial Department of Education and Training, attracted more than 600 participants from high schools across the province, competing in categories of general knowledge of defence and security, emergency medical techniques, movement regulations, grenade throwing, shooting and movements in combat.
The festival aims to assess national defence and security education for high schools to draw lessons and adjust education methods, as well as create an opportunity for schools to improve national defence-security education.
