In group C, team from Dong Nai will play Lam Dong in the opening match. In other matches, Hoang Anh Gia Lai will play Binh Dinh while S. Khanh Hoa will play Phu Yen. At the end of the first leg, Dong Nai ranked third with nine points, after Hoang Anh Gia Lai and Phu Yen.
The other matches include Nam Dinh-Pho Hien, Than Quang Ninh-Viettel in Group A; Song Lam Nghe An-SHB Da Nang, Hong Linh ha tinh-TT.Hue in Group B; Tay Ninh-HCM city, B. Binh Duong-Ben Tre and Long An-An Giang in Group D.
