The medal went to Nguyen Thuc Oanh in male Taolu (demonstration) category. Earlier, on December 4, in vovinam event, martial artists from Dong Nai scored two bronze medals in 57kg and 54kg categories for men and women, respectively..
As of December 5, Dong Nai has won 9 gold, 5 silver and 20 bronze medals, ranking 14th in the overall medal tally. Ha Noi is leading the medal tally with 125 gold, 120 silver and 103 bronze medals, followed by HCM city and Military delegation.
The 8th National Games, featuring 473 disciplines in 36 sports, will last until December 10.
