Accordingly, Lan scored the gold medal and the silver medal in 55kg weight class for women and category for elderly women aged 30-40, respectively. Meanwhile, another athlete named Tran Thanh Tuan from Dong Nai also won one silver medal in 60kg weight class for men.
The medals earned by Dong Nai’s athletes contributed to the achievements of the national team who won a total of 3 golds, 8 silvers and 7 bronzes at the end of the competition.
Lasting from December 11 to 17, the World Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships attracted the participation of 50 delegations from across the world.
