Accordingly, Nguyen Doan Minh Truong-Nguyen Trong Nha Uyen of Dong Nai continued their outstanding performance, winning two gold medals in Rumba and Pasodoble disciplines. Earlier, the dancers won a gold medal in Latin discipline, helping Dong Nai win the first gold medal at the Games. In addition, dancers from Dong Nai also won one silver and four bronze medals.
The 8th National Games will last from November 16 to December 10 with the opening ceremony to take place at My Dinh National Stadium on November 25. The National Games will feature 473 disciplines in 36 sports.
Dong Nai delegation with 250 athletes and 69 coaches will compete in 24 sports and target to score 8-10 golds, with the target of a top 15-20 place in the overall medal tally.
