(ĐN)- The South Korean-owned Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company, located in Bien Hoa Industrial Park 2, on October 21 held a festival for its workers.
The event was held to celebrate the success of the 12th congress of the Vietnam Labor Federation, the 24th founding anniversary of the company as well as the 88th anniversary of the Vietnamese Women’s Day.
The festival attracted over 10,000 workers who participated in series of activities such as tug of war, sack dance, flower arrangement, food festival, etc. Notably, the final night of Taekwang Vina’s singing contest featuring 17 items performed by the company’s employees took place on the same day.
Also at the event, Taekwang Vina presented 30 gifts worth each VND2 million to poor workers, handed over 60 bicycles to the provincial Red Cross Association for presenting to poor students and organized lucky draw for participants. The total cost for the festival was VND500 million.
