This year’s event featured 32 Cai Luong plays performed by 25 theaters and art troupes, including Dong Nai Traditional Art Theater.
At the end of the festival, the organizing board awarded 6 gold medals to outstanding plays, including “Bao tap mot vuong trieu” of Dong Nai Traditional Art Theater. In addition, three young artists from Dong Nai also won three out of 49 gold medals for outstanding individuals, and four others, also from the province, scored 4 silver medals.
Starting from September 5, the festival aimed to keep the tradition of Cai Luong alive in the community and foster a love of this particular kind of music among the people.
