At the end of the competition, athletes from Dong Nai province won 13 gold, 23 silver and 16 bronze medals. In the diving event, athletes from Dong Nai scored a total of 9 gold, 12 silver and 12 bronze medals to excellently finish second.
Taking place between September 12 and 15, the championships attracted the participation of 240 athletes from 23 clubs nationwide, competing in swimming and diving events for six age groups of under 11, 12-13, 14-15 and 16-18.
