The tournament, which is jointly organized by the General Department of Physical Training and Sports and Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, drew the participation of over 200 athletes from 13 teams from across the country, competing for medals in the men’s and women’s doubles, mixed doubles and team categories in two age groups of under 16 and from 17 to 20.
The tournament is an ideal platform for localities to share experience in sepak takraw training and learn from each other, while providing an opportunity to select new promising talent for the national youth team.
