The fourth edition of the event in Vietnam will be held first in Hà Nội on June 16 from 7pm onwards at Cung Đien Kinh Ha Noi (Ha Noi Indoor Gymnasium), located on Tran Huu Duc Street in Cau Dien Ward, Nam Tu Liem District, in Ha Noi, said Indian ambassador to Vietnam Parvathaneni Harish at a press conference in the capital on June 11.

The programme, which is expected to gather 1,200 people, will include a Yoga Protocol Performance led by an Indian yoga instructor as well as a music concert by the Rattle & Hum band from Nagaland, India.

The event will be organised in 11 provinces and cities throughout the country.

The Consulate General of India in HCM City will host activities to mark the Yoga Day in the city and in seven other cities and provinces in the south.

The programme in HCM City, which will begin at 7am, will also feature a Yoga Protocol Performance led by Indian yoga instructors and HCM City Sub-Yoga Association.

Indian nationals living in HCM City will perform Indian classical dance.

The event in HCM City will take place at Ho Xuan Huong Gymnasium at 2, Ho Xuan Huong Street in District 1 on June 26.

The event will be held in Dak Lak Province on June 16, Gia Lai Province on June 19, Tien Giang Province on June 22, Can Tho City on June 24, Kien Giang Province on June 26, Nha Trang City on June 30, and Dong Nai Province on July 15. At least 500-1,000 participants are expected at each venue.

Speaking at a press conference at the HCM City War Remnants Museum, India’s Consul General K. Srikar Reddy encouraged people of all age groups to participate in the activities.
