After 30 stages, Nguyen Thanh Tam Gao Hat Ngoc Troi An Giang won the overall yellow jersey with the total time of 80:37.29. Le Nguyet Minh of Minh Giang-HCM City won the green jersey as the best sprinter. Meanwhile, the red jersey as the King of Mountain belonged to Loic Desriac of Bike Life Dong Nai.
The white jersey as the best young cyclist was awarded to Ngo Van Phuong of An Giang Plant Protection.
VUS-HCM City won the team’s rankings although they had only four members. They were followed by Gao Hat Ngoc Troi An Giang and Domesco Dong Thap.
This year, the annual event had 30 stages which covered 3,267km. It was believed to be the biggest number of stages in not only Vietnam but also in the world. Currently, the world’s most prestigious event, the Tour de France, has 21 stages.
