(ĐN)- The 4th Dong Nai Culture-Sports Festival for Ethnic Minorities wrapped up on May 25 after five days of competition.
This year’s festival brought together 12 delegations with nearly 1,000 athletes and extras, representing for 36 ethnic minority groups from across the province.
During the festival, athletes competed in a variety of sporting events, including football, volleyball, cross-country running, stick pushing, crossbow shooting, tug of war, stilt walking, etc.
They also took part in art performances, cuisine culture exchange, gong and traditional musical instruments performances as well as traditional costumes show.
The event, which is jointly organized by the provincial Committee for Ethnic Minorities and Department of Culture Sports and Tourism, aims to improve the health and spiritual life of ethnic minority people, promote traditional cultural values and enhance solidarity among the community of Vietnamese ethnic groups.
