(ĐN)- The fourth Dong Nai Culture-Sports Festival for Ethnic Minorities opened on Monday at the provincial Sports Center.

This year’s festival brought together 12 delegations with nearly 1,000 athletes and extras, representing for 36 ethnic minority groups from across the province.
During the four-day festival, athletes and extras will participate in sporting events, food and drink contest, art performances, gong and traditional musical instruments performances as well as traditional costumes show.
The event, which is jointly organized by the provincial Committee for Ethnic Minorities and Department of Culture Sports and Tourism, aims to improve the health and spiritual life of ethnic minority people, promote traditional cultural values and enhance solidarity among the community of Vietnamese ethnic groups.
