(ĐN)- Cho Ro ethnic people in Long Thanh district’s Phuoc Binh commune on May 1 held OpYangVry Festival or Forest Incense Worshipping Festival.

OpYangVry Festival takes place annually in 3rd month of Lunar calendar, the harvest of the new rice. It is reserved to pay homage to the spirits, which protect the villagers and bless them with a bumper harvest, clement weather and a peaceful life.

During the festival, many performances and games were organized such as: drums and gongs performances, folk games and traditional music performances. Specially, Com lam (steamed sticky rice in bamboo tubes) - a delicious food of the Choro ethnic group was also offered on ancestral altar on this occasion.
