(ĐN)- The 21st Ba Ria-Vung Tau Newspaper Marathon Competition- IDC Cup took place in Vung Tau city, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province on Sunday.

At the end of the competition, runner Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong of Dong Nai finished second in 5km run for women’s professional individual category, after Hoang Thi Ngoc Hoa from Binh Phuoc province. Meanwhile, Dong Nai also won two third women’s team category and men’s team categories.
The annual event is co-organized by Ba Ria-Vung Tau Newspaper and Ba Ria-Vung Tau provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Around 1,000 athletes from provinces and cities in Southern region took part in categories including 2km, 3km, 5km, 10km for professional, amateur individuals and teams.
