(ĐN)- A get-together for Cambodian and Laos students who are studying in Dong Nai was held on April 8 to celebrate Laos’ Bunpimay and Cambodia’s Chol Chnam Thmay New Year Festivals.
The event was attended by Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Hoa Hiep, Lao Consul General in HCM City Somxay Sanam-Oune, Cambodian Consul General in HCM City Im Hen, and 107 Cambodian and Laos students studying at colleges and universities across the province.
On this occasion, the province’s leader presented New Year gifts to Cambodian and Laos students who participated in vibrant cultural activities including tying thread on guests’ wrists, the splashing of water, traditional dancing, folk games, and art performance, etc.
