In the opening matches, team from Trang Bom district crushed team from Tan Phu district 10-0 in the game at Dong Nai Stadium. Meanwhile, hosts Long Khanh town defeated team from Thong Nhat district 5-0 at the town’s stadium.
The tournament attracted the participation of 5 teams from localities in the province, including Bien Hoa, Long Khanh, Trang Bom, Thong Nhat and Tan Phu, competing in a round-robin format to select best team for the champion title.
