The two-day tournament brought together 85 young chess players from 8 teams across the province. The players were divided into 5 age groups: U8, U10, U11, U13 and U15 to compete for medals under Swiss standards in categories for individuals and teams.
The tournament offers a playground for chess players to exchange, heighten their competition skills and experiences. It also aims to select best players for the province to compete at the upcoming chess tournaments.
