Vietnam are now world No 112, with 298 points to lead the region, followed by the Philippines, world No 123 and Thailand, world No 129.
Asia’s top five teams are Iran, world No 34, Australia (No 36), Japan (No 56), South Korea (No 59) and Saudi Arabia (No 65). Vietnam are in 16th place.
The world’s top 10 remained unchanged. Germany sat atop the world rankings, followed by Brazil and Portugal.
