(ĐN)- The first congress of Dong Nai Vovinam Association for the 2018-2023 tenure took place in Bien Hoa city on Friday.

The event was attended by President of the World Vovinam Federation and Vietnam Vovinam Federation Mai Huu Tin, representatives from Vovinam associations in other provinces as well as 70 delegates in Dong Nai.
Vovinam movement in Dong Nai has been strongly developed with 95 clubs, nearly 4,000 martial artists, 18 martial artist instructors and 160 trainers.
Over the past 5 years, Dong Nai has competed in 21 tournaments and won 41 gold, 66 silver and 98 bronze medals. The congress elected the 15-member executive board for the first tenure and martial arts instructor Vu Van Dien was elected as Chairman of the association.
