(ĐN)- The 6th Nhon Trach district Sports Festival recently wrapped up at the district’s stadium.
At the end of the festival, the organizers awarded the overall first prize to Phuoc Thien commune with 10 gold, 4 silver and 9 bronze medals. The second prize went to Long Tho commune while Phuoc An commune ranked third.
Taking place from August 8, the festival attracted more than 1,200 athletes from 12 communes and units in the district, competing 12 games including football, volleyball, Chinese chess, badminton, swimming, table tennis, tennis, tug or war, taekwondo, Tai Chi exercises, unicorn-lion-dragon dance and athletics.
