(ĐN)- The 6th Vinh Cuu district Sports Festival kicked off yesterday at the district's stadium, attracting the participation of over 2,000 people from 31 delegations in the district. This is the tenth locality in Dong Nai province to organize a sport festival.

Taking place from August 19, the festival attracted more than 1,000 athletes from 25 communes and units in the district, competing 13 games including football, volleyball, swimming, Chinese chess, karate, badminton, table tennis, crossbow shooting, long jump, high jump, tug of war, marathon and traditional martial arts.

Outstanding athletes will be selected for the district to compete at the upcoming 8th Dong Nai Sports Festival.
The festival will conclude in early December.
