As a result, HCM city topped the demonstration event, earning 4 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals. Meanwhile, Ha Noi ranked first in the combat event for both men and women.
With 2 athletes competing at the tournament, Dong Nai scored a bronze medal in the 58-kg category of combat event. This is the first medal earned by a taekwondo artist at the national championships in 10 years.
This year’s tournament brought together over 300 martial artists from 33 cities and provinces across the country, competing for 27 sets of medals in combat and demonstration events.
