(ĐN)- The National Young Cai Luong (Reformed Theatre) and Dan Ca Kich (Folk Singing) Artist Competition concluded on Saturday in Dong Nai province.
The closing ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Vuong Duy Bien, Head of the steering board for the contest, and Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Nguyen Hoa Hiep.

According to Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Vuong Duy Bien, the contest aimed to give young actors an opportunity to exchange performing experiences and to encourage others. It is also an opportunity to introduce audiences to these traditional art forms and foster young acting talents.
The organizers awarded 15 gold medals, 21 silver medals to outstanding contestants, along with 15 certificates of merit to promising young artists. Among the awardees, artists from Dong Nai Traditional Arts Theater won 2 gold medals and one silver medal.
The event attracted 73 young artists from 20 professional theatres and troupes throughout the country.
