(ĐN)- Dong Nai Folk Literature and Art Branch on September 10 held a ceremony to present certificates recognizing “Folk artisan” title and “For the cause of folk literature and art of Vietnam” campaign medals to three “Don ca tai tu” artisans in Dong Nai province.

They are Pham Lo, 70, residing in Bien Hoa city; Dang Van Vinh, residing in Bin Hoa city and Le Van Loi, 67, also lives in Bien Hoa city, who made their contributions in transferring ‘Don ca tai tu”, a musical art in southern Vietnam, to the young generation as well as preserving and developing this kind of art.
So far, Dong Nai has had five folk artisans. The two other artisans are Nguyen Van Noi of Choro ethnic minority group in Vinh Cuu district and Ka Bao of Ma ethnic minority group in Tan Phu district.
