Buu Lam pagoda was built in 1817 by three elder superior Buddhist monks, Thich Phe Chieu, Thich Pho Te and Thich Thien Phap. The pagoda used to be a revolutionary base during the resistance war and was many times destroyed by the enemies. Local people have restored and upgraded the pagoda.
Currently, the old Buu Lam pagoda has spacious facilities and is preserving an old Buddha statue and 2 towers.
On this occasion, the Buddhist temple donated VND45 million to the Funds for the Poor of Vinh Cuu district and Binh Hoa commune.
