Over 900 young chess players competing at national chess event

(ĐN)- The 2017 National Youth Chess Tournament kicked off on July 6 in Da Lat city of Lam Dong province.

 

(ĐN)- The 2017 National Youth Chess Tournament kicked off on July 6 in Da Lat city of Lam Dong province.

The tournament brought together 916 young chess players from 37 teams nationwide, including Dong Nai province. The players were divided into eight age groups: U.6, U.7, U.9, U.11, U.13, U.15, U.17 and U.20 to compete for 128 sets of medals under Swiss standards in categories for individuals and teams.

The event will last through July 17.
