(ĐN)-Dong Nai Song and Dance Troupes scored two prizes at two national contests for professional dancers and choreographers which were held during July by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Accordingly, the dancing work entitled “Truyen nghe” (Transferring profession), choreographed by Viet Bac, depicting a story of Ma ethnic minority group in Dong Nai in preserving and developing traditional brocade weaving industry won the B prize at the Professional Dancing Contest for Vietnam Ethnic Minorities in Southern Region held in Binh Thuan between July 18 and 20.

Meanwhile, dancer Thanh Tung who is from Dong Nai Song and Dance Troupe won silver prize at the National Contest for Talented Dancers 2017 Ha Noi from July 14 to 20 with two items, including Teu (a famous character in Vietnamese water puppetry), choreographed by Tran Ly Ly and music composed by meritorious artist Manh Tien, and Ky uc (memory), choreographed by people’s artist Ha The Dung and music composed by people’s artist Manh Tien.
