(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s players won two gold, two silver and two bronze medals at the 2017 National Youth Sepak Takraw Championships which wrapped up in Bac Giang province on July 23 after 8 days of competition.
The annual tournament saw the participation of 200 athletes from 13 provinces and cities nationwide, competing for medals in two age groups of under 16 and between 17 and 20 in the men’s and women’s doubles, mixed doubles and team categories.
The tournament is an ideal platform for localities to share experience in sepak takraw training and learn from each other, while providing an opportunity to select new promising talent for the national youth team.
