The six-day event brought together 205 fighters from 18 cities and provinces nationwide vying for medals in 18 weight combat categories for professionals and 15 weight categories for young players.
Fighters from HCM city finished on top with seven gold, seven silver and four bronze medals. Ha Noi ranked second while teams from the Ministry of Public Security and Binh Duong shared the third place.
Outstanding athletes will be selected to represent Vietnam at Young Muay Tournament in Thailand as well as the 29th Southeast Asian Games.
Muay, a traditional martial art of Thailand, has been developed strongly worldwide and is included in international and regional competitions in recent years.
