(ĐN)- Ethnic groups in Dinh Quan district have recently held the Long Tong (going to the field) festival, the first of its kind in the locality.
Amidst the spring festive atmosphere, the locals flocked to the event to pray for favorable weather, bumper crops, and happiness.
Local ethnic groups offered trays of local specialties to gods to thank them for the crops and to ask for their blessings so local people can enjoy favorable weather conditions and have a comfortable and happy life in the New Year.
During the festival, cultural and sporting activities including Then singing and “con” (cloth ball) throwing are organized.
