As a result, Le Nguyet Minh took home the yellow jersey after clocking the fastest time in the tournament. Minh of Mathnasium HCM City also won the green jersey for scoring most the points in the event. The white jersey for best young rider went to Huynh Minh Nghia of Asanzo Da Nang. In the team category, An Giang topped the table.
The event attracted 70 cyclists from 14 teams across the country, including Dong Nai province. The athletes competed in nine stages, running through provinces of Dong Nai, Binh Thuan, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh and Ben Tre.
